Korea Photoshoot FAQ — Everything You Need to Know
General & Booking
How much does a photoshoot in Korea cost?
Professional photoshoots with Golden Hour Korea range from $185 to $590, depending on session length, location, and package. The Standard package starts at $185, the 2-hour Premium package is $330–440, the Nami Island package is $400–445, and pre-wedding packages run $340–590.
Do your photographers speak English?
Yes. Every Golden Hour photographer has lived abroad and speaks fluent English, so communication before and during the shoot is smooth.
How do I book a photoshoot?
You can book directly on goldenhour.today by selecting a package and completing payment, or by contacting us on Instagram @goldenhour_korea We confirm your date, location, and concept before the shoot.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons (spring cherry blossoms in April and autumn foliage in October–November). Pre-wedding shoots should be booked earlier because we reserve only one couple per day.
What happens if it rains on my shoot day?
If weather disrupts your shoot, we reschedule or adjust the plan at no penalty. Our photographers monitor the forecast in advance and suggest alternative times, indoor-friendly spots, or backup dates so your session still happens.
Locations
Where can I take photos in Seoul?
Popular Seoul locations include Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namsan, and Seoul Forest. Golden Hour photographers know both iconic spots and quieter locations that avoid heavy tourist crowds.
Can you shoot in Busan, Jeju, or Nami Island?
Yes. Golden Hour Korea offers photoshoots in Seoul, Busan, Jeju Island, and Nami Island. Because Nami Island is about a 5-hour round trip from Seoul, we accept Nami bookings of 2 hours or more.
Do you do hanbok photoshoots?
Yes. We frequently shoot clients in traditional Korean hanbok at palaces and historic sites such as Gyeongbokgung. We can recommend nearby hanbok rental shops and help coordinate styling for your session.
Who It’s For
Is this good for couples and pre-wedding photos?
Yes. Pre-wedding and couple shoots are one of our specialties. Pre-wedding packages ($340–590) reserve the date exclusively for one couple, include a concept consultation, location recommendations, and styling tips for hair, makeup, and dress.
Can you photograph families with young children?
Yes. We regularly photograph families with young kids and guide children naturally through the session. Past family clients with toddlers have noted how smoothly the shoot went despite worries beforehand.
I’ve never done a professional photoshoot. Is that okay?
Yes. Most Golden Hour clients have never done a professional shoot before. The photographer guides you step by step through poses and expressions, so no modeling experience is needed.
Is a solo traveler shoot possible?
Yes. The Standard package ($185–260) is well suited to solo travelers who want quick, natural photos that fit a busy itinerary. It also accommodates small groups of up to 7 people.
Packages & Delivery
What is included in the Standard package?
The Standard package ($185–260) is a short, efficient session ideal for solo travelers or groups of up to 7 people. It focuses on natural, fun photos and fits easily into a travel schedule.
